Traveling throughout Europe and having lived in London for many years, I have gained a very different perspective on life and the visual arts. I was very comfortable with the European way of life and it certainly influenced my photography. When I first returned to the states, all I wanted to do was photograph in black and white. However recently, more clients want to be bathed in brilliant color! So, I let the photograph decide. I am able to visualize it in black white and color, but I prefer to allow it to just happen.
What is my favorite subject to shoot? Well, thats difficult to answer. I have photographed children,
adults, and pets. I have done many interesting commercial shoots (some while hanging out of a
helicopter). I have photographed more landscapes than I can even remember; and the only thing I know for sure is that when I am involved in the shoot nothing else matters! So , I guess whatever I am photographing at that moment in time is my favorite.
